Reborn in the Cultivation World to Right Past Wrongs Yu Shuyun 842 words 2026-04-13 09:37:33

Unknowingly, it has already been more than a month since the release of my new book on April 7th. With uninterrupted updates, the word count has now surpassed 160,000. The original intention behind writing this book was to fulfill a long-cherished wish of mine.

I have been an avid reader for over a decade, a veteran of online literature. To be precise, my journey began with "First Intimate Touch," back when I was still just a child in a fourth-tier city, only just beginning to explore the internet.

(Alright, I suppose I’ve revealed my age. To many young people now, I’m considered an auntie, and in fact, I’m a mother of two.)

Back then, I would save up my pocket money for a long time just to buy a physical book, which I would secretly read in hiding. The very first novel I recall finding online was a xianxia story, "Luofu" by the renowned author Wuzui.

It wasn’t the well-known "Zhu Xian" or "A Record of a Mortal’s Journey to Immortality" that captured most people’s attention.

What left the deepest impression in "Luofu" was not the protagonist Luo Bei, but Yuanyi, who seemed like an immortal descended to the mortal world—pure, flawless, with breathtaking beauty, skin as if carved from jade, dressed in a simple moon-white linen robe, barefoot, emerging from the faint night mist.

The figure of Yuanyi that appeared in my mind back then perfectly matched the image of an immortal lingering at the edges of memory.

In a blink, more than ten years have passed, and those who once read these stories are now, like me, firmly in the auntie generation.

From reading male-oriented xianxia at first to now delving into stories for female readers, I’ve always been an enthusiast of the genre. My love for xianxia fostered a world of immortals in my heart, which ultimately drove me to choose this theme without hesitation.

Since I’m really not skilled at writing romance, though there is a male lead in this book, I can’t quite portray a passionate love story.

The results since the book’s release could be described as rather chilly, but that was within expectations.

After all, xianxia for female readers isn’t exactly a hot genre—its audience is small, and my own writing skills are limited, unable to express even a fraction of what I imagine in my heart.

But after so much effort, the time has come to show its true colors.

Thank you to everyone who has supported and followed the story so far.

The official launch will take place today after 10 a.m., and I plan to release at least three chapters on the day of launch. Afterward, updates will return to two chapters a day.

I sincerely ask for your support with the first subscriptions, as these are truly crucial for a new novel!

With heartfelt gratitude, I thank you all. If you enjoy the story, please support the official version and remember to subscribe!
