As the danger escalated, Long Yun’s mind grew strangely calm. A faint smile graced his lips as he extended his palm, upon which the Mirror of Samsara spun and danced.

"Feng Wuji was right; the Heaven Demon Mirror is indeed in my possession, though it is now called the Mirror of Samsara. But I will not give it to you, for it belongs to me, Long Yun!" Long Yun said coolly, showing no sign of discouragement even when facing Qingfeng, whose cultivation surpassed that of both Feng Wuji and Xu Xian.

The four, led by Qingfeng, stared intently at the mirror in Long Yun’s hand. Pure, potent energy emanated from it—an aura that no ordinary divine object could possess. They swallowed hard, unable to conceal the greed in their eyes.

"Long Yun, hand over the Heaven Demon Mirror, and I guarantee that from this day forward, the Jade Sword Sect will be the hegemon of the Qingshan System!" Qingfeng said with a smile, though his heart was burning with impatience.

Long Yun gave a disdainful laugh. "Do you think just anyone is worthy of owning the Mirror of Samsara? You are a petty villain; even if I gave it to you, you would not be fit to use it!"

"Then you leave me no choice!" Qingfeng let out a cold snort. His figure lunged forward instantly, his palm striking out with churning azure light, whistling toward Long Yun!

"Master, look out!" Two figures soared into the sky, intercepting Qingfeng’s palm strikes to shield Long Yun.

With two muffled thuds, these two experts at the Ronggong realm were shattered into fragments by Qingfeng’s force, splattering in a gruesome display. Long Yun had not expected these magical creatures from the Samsara Space to sacrifice their lives to block a fatal blow for him.

"Qingfeng, do you realize what you are doing? It is not just you—the Juxian Mountain will be destroyed because of your actions today!" Long Yun gritted his teeth.

Qingfeng sneered, "As long as I obtain the Heaven Demon Mirror—no, the Mirror of Samsara—what does a mere Juxian Mountain matter? My three brothers and I have spent a century in seclusion; once we wield the divine power of the Mirror of Samsara, who under the heavens will be our match?"

Madness flickered in Qingfeng’s eyes. A single treasure had driven him to such obsession.

"Therefore, you shall all die today!" Qingfeng laughed, his voice shaking the heavens. A massive pressure crushed down, causing disciples with lower cultivation to vomit blood immediately.

"Don't you dare harm our master!" Over a dozen Ronggong experts stood before Long Yun, gritting their teeth to withstand the oppressive aura.

"Do you really think you can stop me?" Qingfeng snarled, his hands moving like butterflies as he struck dozens of times. Palm shadows filled the air, transforming into layers of crashing waves that surged toward the group.

The dozen experts did not hold back, each unleashing their strongest techniques to counter Qingfeng. The sound of air bursting filled the surroundings, accompanied by the constant crackle of exploding true energy. With every sound, Long Yun’s heart wrenched; each collision meant one less comrade standing before him. They were trading their lives to buy him a sliver of hope.

"Qingfeng, today, none of you four—Wind, Rain, Thunder, or Lightning—will leave this place alive!" Long Yun gritted his teeth and pulled the dragon pearl gifted to him by Bi’an from his waist.

As he channeled his true energy into his palm, the pearl shattered into dust under the pressure.

"What is this?" Qingfeng frowned. As Long Yun crushed the bead, he sensed a surge of soul energy being released.

"Damn it! You’re calling for help!" Qingfeng’s laughter vanished. Any expert Long Yun could summon must surely possess terrifying cultivation. He could not afford to delay; he would let the others live for now, and once his own supreme art was perfected, he would return to annihilate the Qingshan System.

With that thought, Qingfeng lunged toward Long Yun, desperate to seize the Mirror of Samsara before it vanished from his palm. Furious, Qingfeng struck out with two more palms, sending two more Ronggong experts flying in a spray of blood, before a massive hand descended and snatched Long Yun up.

"Brothers, let's leave this place at once!" With Long Yun in his grip, Qingfeng knew he would eventually force the mirror out of him. The four transformed into streaks of light and fled into the distance.

"Release my brother, you scoundrels!" Yan Qingqing cried out, unfolding her movement technique and being the first to give chase.

*Whoosh!* Just as Qingfeng’s gaze fell upon the swiftly approaching Yan Qingqing, he felt a vast, overwhelming aura descend upon him. At the same time, a brilliant golden light erupted around Long Yun, like a star on the verge of supernova, its dazzling radiance instantly engulfing him.

Qingfeng felt his body grow heavy, unable to withstand the crushing pressure, and plummeted toward the ground.

"Steady!" Qingfeng gritted his teeth, chanting a spell while his true energy exploded outward. He managed to resist the suppression and landed on the ground, though the sheer force of the impact forced him to stagger back two paces. Xiyu, Benlei, and Shandian felt the same, stumbling back as they stared in disbelief at the source of the aura.

The golden orb of light surrounding Long Yun hovered in the air before slowly descending. As the light faded, Long Yun’s figure was revealed.

"Brother!" Yan Qingqing called out, landing by his side, her eyes filled with irrepressible joy and excitement.

"I do not know which senior has arrived. I am Qingfeng, a disciple of Juxian Mountain. I pay my respects to you, Senior!" Qingfeng’s complexion turned ghastly as he bowed toward the figure. Though Juxian Mountain was not the most powerful sect in the Central Plains, it held a certain reputation; he hoped mentioning his lineage might grant them mercy.

A figure appeared out of thin air, standing with his hands behind his back. His long hair moved without wind, and his aura had completely vanished. He stood in the void, giving the impression that he had merged with the heavens themselves; in this moment, he was the sky.

Seeing this, a smile touched Long Yun’s lips. It was indeed Bi’an, who had given him the dragon pearl with instructions to crush it if he ever faced mortal danger.

Bi’an’s gaze rested on Long Yun, and he smiled faintly. "Long Yun, this opportunity was a bit of a waste, don't you think?"

Long Yun blushed. Bi’an’s cultivation was unfathomable, and his words carried a hint of reproach. Perhaps these four—Wind, Rain, Thunder, and Lightning—were beneath his notice entirely.

"Senior, that may be true, but you must understand the pain of having low cultivation!" Long Yun replied with an embarrassed laugh.

Bi’an shook his head, his gaze shifting to Qingfeng. The latter’s face was now pale as ash. He didn't need Bi’an to strike; he could already sense the profound depth of the man’s power—an aura that surpassed even the master of Juxian Mountain. This was an expert he could not afford to provoke.

"Disciples of the righteous path, truly calculating. To harbor such greed—I wonder how your sect taught you to behave!" Bi’an said softly. His voice was not loud, but it left the four men unable to muster the slightest defiance.

"Senior, we were momentarily confused! Please, show mercy. We are willing to serve as guest elders of the Jade Sword Sect—we hope you will give us a chance to atone!" Qingfeng, quick-witted, pleaded immediately.

"Long Yun, what is your will?" Bi’an asked.

Long Yun looked at the four with disdain. "The Jade Sword Sect is comprised of upright men. Not to mention that you four belong to the Qing Sect, your character alone makes you unfit to be guest elders. Senior, my apologies—I know one shouldn't use a butcher's knife to slaughter a chicken, but this time, let us make an exception."

"Ha! Good! It shall be as you wish!" Bi’an laughed. Suddenly, his expression turned icy. With a flick of his hand, a golden radiance manifested into a massive screen of light, crushing down upon the four men.
